Alcatel unveils world's thinnest smartphone

Alcatel, a low-key manufacturer, has announced the world's thinnest smartphone with 6.45mm. If you know who the last 'world's thinnest' smartphone title holder was, is now no more in possession of the title. The smartphone, One Touch Idol Ultra, has a 4.7" HD display and mesaures only 6.45mm on the sides. The other phone announced was 5" quad core named One Touch Scribe HD.

The Idol Ultra is pretty similar in features to other high-end Android phones, with an HD AMOLED screen, a 1.2Ghz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and an 8MP rear camera. Storage is unknown but there's no SD card slot.

What do you think about this ultra thin smartphone?
