Samsung To Consider Freeing Up Memory in Galaxy S4

We all expected this was coming. The free space on 16GB Galaxy S4 is around 9GB and Samsung received a great amount of negative response from users. The phone is pretty bloated when it comes to software: on a brand new, unsullied phone, more than 6GB of internal storage is taken up by Samsung's TouchWiz version of Android.
Samsung gave the following statement to CNET UK:

"We appreciate this issue being raised and we will improve our communications. Also, we are reviewing the possibility to secure more memory space through further software optimisation. Samsung is committed to listening to our customers and responding to their needs as part of our innovation process."
Keeping in mind that most market do not have access to 32GB models it's good and efficient work by Samsung that they understood the situation pretty quickly and are now going to consider to solve this issue.
Are you willing to have more space on your S4 or it doesn't bother you? Let us know in the comments below.
