Sony announced Xperia Z with Android 4.1 and promised to update it to 4.2 soon. Well, the update is here and has gone live in different parts of the world. The new build is labeled 10.3.A.0.423, exactly the same as the update that started for the Xperia ZL. The new software is required to be flashed with Sony's PC companion software. The earlier reports suggest update has gone live in Spain, Hong Kong, Austria, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands.
Apart from Android 4.2 goodies changelog states that Sony has released a new version of it's media apps, a new feature of remote phone location app and the support for micro SD card is now up to 64GB.
