We have had a few leaks recently on HTC's phablet and today we some more news coming in. The recent leak is contradicting to what we heard before. Early leaks suggested a device of over 5-inches to replace HTC Butterfly. But today a leaked blueprint of HTC's upcoming phablet says the device will be a huge 5.9-inch 1080p and will look exactly like HTC One. Interestingly enough the leak gives us a full breakdown on the device, but it doesn’t appear to be much longer than the original 4.7-inch HTC One, which leaves us a bit confused. Oddly we also see 140.4mm in length and 9.4mm thick. The original 4.7-inch HTC One was 137mm. So this doesn’t appear to be much longer.
Mobileaks suggest the HTC phablet will be slightly longer, and slightly wider, which will make up for the 5.9-inch screen size.
Leaked specs suggest the device is going to rock 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, an ultra pixel camera and 16GB built in storage. All this would be powered by a 3300mAh battery.
The leaks have been pretty consistent over the past few days and looks like HTC is going to announce the device soon. Will this be a hit? Is this going to pose a threat to Samsung Galaxy Note III? Drop a comment below and let us know if you're looking forward to this device.
